NM Concealed Carry Course

Service Description

This comprehensive two-day course provides the required 15 hours of instruction—combining both classroom learning and range work—to qualify for a New Mexico concealed carry permit. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of state laws, firearm safety, and real-life scenarios to ensure responsible and legal concealed carry practices. Certificate upon completion. Certificates are valid for 90 days from course completion date. Eligibility Criteria (To qualify to submit your application upon successful completion of the course) • Citizen or legal resident of the United States • Resident of New Mexico OR is a member of the armed forces whose permanent duty station is located in New Mexico • Must be 21+ to participate. • Not a fugitive from justice • Not been convicted of a felony in New Mexico or any other state • Not currently under indictment for a felony criminal offense in New Mexico or any other state • Not otherwise prohibited by federal law or the law of any other jurisdiction from purchasing or possessing a firearm • Has not been adjudicated mentally incompetent or committed to a mental institution • Not addicted to alcohol or controlled substances • Has satisfactorily completed a firearms training course approved by the department.
